"IT IS FINISHED"
John 19:30
"For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death."
And the LORD said unto Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing
I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go, I will send you to Jesse the Beth-lehemite: for I have provided Me a king among his sons. (1 Samuel 16:1)
When a man was to be anointed to be king in those days, the Lord would instruct the Prophet to fill a ram’s horn with oil.
He would then pour the oil over the head, with the oil saturating his clothes, even down to the feet.
This spoke of a saturation by the Holy Spirit.
THE ANOINTING
The great need in the Church today is the Anointing.
The reason that the Church is full of man-made church growth schemes and programs that attempt to sanctify Believers through works is because, by and large, the church has lost the Anointing of the Holy Spirit.
When the Holy Spirit is rejected or no longer desired, then the only thing you have left is man and his schemes, which are almost always aided by demon spirits that come to deceive and then ensnare Believers.
• The Anointing of the Holy Spirit is the only Power that can break the yoke of bondage of sin, sickness, poverty and religious tradition.
• The cry of the Preacher must be for the Anointing of the Holy Spirit.
• The cry of the Church must be for the Holy Spirit to fill the Tabernacle with the Glory of God.
As David had to be anointed, so too do we need to be anointed.
"FILL"
The word fill means to be full of and to furnish.
The Believer can be full of religion and tradition or he can be full of the Holy Spirit.
We are to be full of the Holy Spirit in order for the Holy Spirit to furnish what we need for the task at hand.
When Power is needed, the Holy Spirit furnishes it, when Help is needed, when Grace is needed, when Instruction is needed, whatever is needed, the Holy Spirit furnishes it.
"HORN"
in the Hebrew means a flask, a container, a receptacle, and it is figurative of power.
Today, spiritually speaking, we are the horn, the receptacle of Power and Anointing of the Holy Spirit.
"GO"
The Church has a mission and that is to go .
Go and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Go and heal the sick.
Go and pray for Believers to be filled with the Spirit.
The true Church is never idle, but it is always pressing forward, pushing back Satan's kingdom of darkness.

"But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled
Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be
corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." (IICor 11:3)
Although new to most who hear it, this message is not really new at all, but rather a return to the simplicity of the Gospel as outlined in Scripture. The Message of the Cross is the message of the new covenant.
It is the truth of Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
And it is all based on grace through faith .
We believe that as we exhibit faith in what
Jesus Christ accomplished for us on the Cross,
the Holy Spirit then freely, by grace ,
brings to us the Benefits of the Cross.
•The initial and greatest benefit is, of course, salvation .
"For by grace are you saved through faith ."(Eph. 2:8a)
Regarding salvation there is nothing that we
can add to the Finished Work of Christ.
"and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
lest any man should boast."(Eph. 2:8b,9)
•After conversion, the Holy Spirit desires to continue to bring to us everything needed for victorious living and sanctification . "to present you holy and unblamable and unreprovable in His sight."(Col. 1:22)
The Holy Spirit can, and will, deliver this grace only as we exhibit faith solely in what Jesus Christ has accomplished for us on the Cross. "If you continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel."(Col. 1:23)
Regarding sanctification there is nothing we can add
to the finished Work of Christ. "Are you so foolish,
having begun in the Spirit are you now made perfect
by the flesh?" (Gal. 3:3)
For the saint as well as for the sinner, the gospel is the amazing fact that God has done for us that which we
cannot do for ourselves.
The Message of the Cross places our faith where it
must be for God to have His way in our lives:
in the death burial and resurrection of our
Lord Jesus Christ.
"For I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I; Christ lives in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God Who loved me and gave Himself for me.(Gal. 2:20)

“ For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Rom. 3:23)
Even after we have turned from darkness to light, it is a part of our fallen nature to want to earn, deserve or measure up to God’'s standard.
But only Jesus has met that standard.
The bar has been set entirely too high for Adam’s descendants.
The "“glory of God”" can only be found in the Person of Jesus Christ.
Our efforts fall miserably short.
In Christ alone can we hope to rise from self righteousness and touch the true glory of God.
"The Bread of Life"
"Labour not for the meat which perishes, but for that meat which endures unto Everlasting Life; which the Son of Man shall give unto: for Him has God the Father sealed." John 6:27
It is the "Living Word ". It is the Touch of His Own Nature, He wants to Breathe into our human nature today. The Nature of the "Son." It is His Spirit that quickens us, gives us power and changes our human nature. It is His Spirit that changes us from death to Life, into His Glorious Liberty! We need a drink of a spiritual awakening, we need to eat of the manna of Christ today. God has sealed Him for that purpose...and he is the "Bread of Life" for us. I pray that our hearts are in communion with Christ, the TRUE manna.
The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit!
